Multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE that the Barbie star, 34, and husband Tom Ackerley are expecting their first baby.

Robbie and Ackerley, also 34, first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.

The company has produced several films and television series, including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey and Barbie — all of which starred Robbie.

“[We spend] 24 hours a day [together],” he stated. “It runs smoothly. There isn’t an on/off toggle available. All of it has united into one.”
